This tract was the second of the four courses here. This course winds its way along the edge of a scenic nature preserve and features a variety of elevations, wide undulating fairways, big greens and a lot of water in-play (brooks, lakes and waterfalls). While the front nine is wild and tree-covered, the back nine is more wide open. No. 18, a 425-yard par 4, is the most memorable hole. There has been a long running rumor that Ocean Ridge has been having financial issues, which probably accounts for the all too frequent surly attitudes of some staffers there.
