This course is the north-end pretender to Caledonia and we stress pretender. Running along the Waccamaw River, it’s another attempt at bringing the Old Country to the New World cheerio dude. It features open tee shots; wide, flat fairways, long par 5’s, large, elevated, heavily trapped and fast greens and water coming into play on twelve holes. While the layout is nothing extraordinary, their greens get rave reviews, and you shouldn’t lose any balls. Note: The only real problem here is finding it, as it’s really off the beaten track. So be sure and allow an extra 20 to 30-minutes to find it.
