The Aspen Grille has changed hands yet again. New owner/chef, lighter walls, new piano player, slightly different but still "pricey" menu and a really lousy bartender. The shaved-headed clown behind the bar, had the personality of a pine cone, so we recommend that you avoid the bar area like the plague. Unlike the mixer moron, the dining staff are friendly and professional. Their beef is hand-cut, but after our fried oysters and salt & pepper calamari aps, we opted for the skillet seared sea scallops and veal Boca Chica for our entrées. Everything was served promptly, and was very tasty. Except for the crummy bar and too much "tinkle" from the mediocre piano player, this Aspen incarnation is a very nice improvement.
